The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse.

It follows a bunch of survivors, led by former police officer Rick Grimes, who journey in quest of a protected and safe dwelling. Because the world overrun by the lifeless takes its toll on the survivors, their interpersonal conflicts current a higher hazard to their persevering with survival than the walkers that roam the country.
